It is called Italian quality. Frame alignment, paint etc, etc. Check out the mfg tolerances in the doors of your older Ferrari. If you wanted a perfect bike, you should have bought Taiwanese.

Is it Aluminum/Carbon. In any case 3/4" is huge, I'd exchange if new and under warranty. (Aren't the all aluminum 3+yrs old?)
