Also, though, if they try and pin me on an illegal u-turn, should I fight it as well? I've never been to a traffic court (I like to think I'm a safe driver/rider, hah) - do they have anyone there vouching for the cop, or is it just a "this is what the ticket says, what is your story?" kind of thing? If that's the case, I'll just say I went 100 ft up the block before turning.
