No! (I think I may have answered this one !! ) Just to recap, the only thing giving out light is the surface of the post (0.4mm layer) beneath that is a strong, manly, robust, lightweight and stiff Thomson seatpost !



It may look as though you are sitting on a fluorescent tube - (it looks very surreal in real life, something pictures don't really capture) - but you are sat atop a standard seatpost with some electromagic on the surface!
