Training After a 2-week Hiaitus

I'm going to be off the bike for a bit over 2 weeks (romantic vacation with my sweetie, no cycling in the program). When we get back, I'll have two weeks to get ready for a century.

My current fitness is good -- I do an 80-miler most weekends and about 160 miles per week -- but I'm not sure how much I'll lose during that two weeks, or how best to train when we do get back.

I'm thinking I'll go pretty hard my first week back -- probably 140-160 miles, with one long ride (~80 miles), one day of intense intervals, one day of LT intervals and a day or two of easy/recovery rides in between.

The week before the event, I'll "taper" -- probably one abbreviated intervals workout on Tuesday, then a couple of short, easy rides on Thursday and Friday.

It's not a race, but I do like to go as hard as I can for any supported ride like this. Anyone see a serious problem with this plan? Is it too much, too soon after a layoff?
