I work from home on Fridays, and having done 2 40+ mile RT's this week, I was tempted to just stay in (especially with the rain).....

but, after dropping the kids off at school, I decided to do a 20 mile loop, and stop by the Reston BTW day tent. I had a bit of trouble finding it, since the signs weren't all that great, AND all the construction in the lot, but I go there around 8:30.....only to find that all the food was gone. Bummer.

Stopped by A-1 Cycling's tent, and got a quick adjustment on my rear DR. Talked to the folks at the Bike Lane, who are opening up a shop soon....probably around July or so, depending on construction, right in the Town Center.

In the main tent, got a couple maps, said hi to some folks I met at the PPTC century, and got a raffle ticket.....which scored! I got a free bike tune-up from the Bike Lane. I just got my road bike done, so after I finish with Mt. Mitchell, I'll take the Kona in there and get it a good going over....

So, it was worth it to get out in the rain...
