Yeah, I just wipe mine down from time to time.

FWIW, WD40 works well to cut the road grime that gets stuck to the frame (about the only thing I would use WD40 for on a bicycle except in an emergency). I use it kind of like how one would use furniture polish - spray some on a paper towel, and then wipe things down. The oil evaporates after a few hours.
