How about a different question. What's the best way of hauling cargo (not children)? With a child trailer, or with something like the Surly that was mentioned in this thread.
I was thinking of trying to pick up a child trailer at a yard sale somewhere. I wouldn't need to pick up another bike - that's the plus side. Would need to store the trailer though, but if it folds up to a small enough package, I could hang it on the wall..
