Interesting read, thanks. Pretty much everytime I have sold a bike on CL the person asks me "Is this bike stolen?" and I am kinda like "Uhm, you are in my house, if it is stolen, clearly I am the dumbest thief ever." but I just say "No, it isn't". Heh.
What's the usual process for selling a bike via CL anyway? Test rides seem like a bad idea, but I can't imagine buying a bike WITHOUT test riding it either. I'm gonna be selling a couple bikes soon, so it's valuable information.
