Bike racers are mostly cool or it would be a much greater crashfest out there than it already is. That's because all the 'ettiquette' in bike racing is widely accepted, observed, followed and not discussed. Because it's common sense. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you and all that. You cut off somebody in a corner he may cut you off next lap. We're all dependent on each other for our safety in pelotons, and 99% of the time it works

+1 - This always worked in motorsports racing as well....at least it did until we started visiting some pretty backwoods tracks where we were severely under armed in the pits.
