I have the same problem with the Cateye, but the problem isn't water in the sensor. I'm willing to bet that if you push the computer back into the base it will work. If this fixes the problem, take off the computer, from the base, and look at the contacts. Are they greenish? If so, just scrub them down and put it back on the base. Problem solved!
