Congrats on the new bike- it looks great!
On your front brake, tighten it till it doesn't move easily- but to echo others, don't over tighten.

step 1. Ignore the BD haters-
step 2. Ride it till the wheels come off
(FWIW- make sure the quick releases are in the "closed" position - the front QR looks open in your picture.)
