Chain Sticking on Cog
I have been trying to convert my bike to a single speed. I am at the final stages but hit a speedbump here. As the chain engages the rear cog, it gets stuck and has difficulty releasing the teeth of the cog. Additionally, as it approaches the cog, the teeth initially make contact with the solid parts of the chain rather than the spaces between (hope that makes sense) and will eventually pop into place. Effectively, the chain is clicking and sticking on the cog and that creates an inefficient rough ride. If anyone knows what could be causing this, please advise. Thanks, in advance.
