Here's my nearly completed Stumpjumper Sport converted to drop bars for summer commuting. It came to me as a thrift store find, well used & neglected. It's built with a combination of original parts and spares from the garage. The wheels are a pair I got for $8 from someone who upgraded, and added an 8 speed 12-23 cassette and friction barcons shifting a SunTour Mountech derailler.

Its brother is one I bought new in 1983 or 1984. It has gradually evolved into a singlespeed.

There's rumored to be a third brother in the attic, hiding from my wife. When I get time and finish a few other projects, I plan to return the singlespeed to near-original geared condition with topshifters and bullmoose bars and build the third brother as a singlespeed.
