I use Pro Link Gold and think it works better than many other lubes I've tried (including White Lightning) IMO. I use it on my chain after every long ride. I just put a drop on the two pins in each chain link, then wipe off the excess with an old t-shirt. Keeps the drive train well lubed and super clean. I got this tip from Zinn's book on road bike maintenance and it works great. Granted, I'm a little OCD, but my drive train is as quiet as a mouse. And every so often I'll use Pro Link to lube the derailleurs and calipers too.
