The rear (Altus) derailleur is "original", from your bike.
I already liked the look of your extracycle, but I am extremely pleased my battered old winter beater frame is being used so well. I think I mentioned how good it was carrying loads when you picked it up...those 80s Hardrock frames are, as someone already said, great frames. I just showed my wife what you did with it and she was amazed. "Not that old pinky one!!!".
I sold my Schwinn Voyageur with the Kelly Take-Offs, original rack and Tiagra crankset to an ex-colleague in DC for $100 and he has been overjoyed with it.
It's just a good feeling knowing decent stuff doesn't get wasted.
