I did some searching on BF and it sounds like most people are running 130 BCD converted 'road' cranks. What's the deal here?
the guys in racer sportif certainly have the racer snob appeal.

the deal is you can run and crank you want, any chainring / bcd you want; any old 3/32" chainring will work. i use a converted 130 shimano crank and 3/32" chainring with a 1/8" chain no problemo. you can even use a 1/8 chain with a 3/32 cog if you want (just not the other way around).
