In my job I have called OSHA for determination of training standards for staff where the language is ambiguous, some leadership team members told me "never, ever call OSHA they'll come and inspect us if you ask questions". That never happened there.

It's not like I've got a meth lab, and am asking authorities "are you sure it's against the law for me to buy 6 pounds of Sudafed???"
