I've used regular Cinelli and now the Fi'zik.

I ride really far and want the best shock absorbing, cushy tape. Recommendations?
Fizik tape is great. Gell is lame. Cushy is overrated. HTFU wussy.

Edit: my wife wants me to take that back. She has Specialized bar phat gel under her tape. She likes it, but I ride a lot, and IMO "cushy" is a bad idea, and firm is better. Just as with saddles, it is better for it to be firm, otherwise it just impacts the soft tissue.
