My rental bike in the Alpes-Maritimes is going to be outfitted with "fly" Hutchison Flash tires.

Is it worth it to bring some "scuffed" (500 miles or so) ProRace2's with me all the way to France and swap out the tires?

I'll probably get 4-5 rides up into the hills while I'm there, I expect around 50-60 km each.

I'm already bringing pedals, saddle and stem.
