I ride nothing but Continentals on all my race bikes. GP4000 clinchers on the road, Podium tubs on the track (definitely not for normal road riding.)

Needless to say, I love Continental.

My commuter, though, does not have Contis. There are better street tires. I use Panaracer Pasela T-Serv 700cx28. Good tread, extremely durable, not prone to pinch-flatting, good grip, kevlar bead, pretty cheap.
