instead of moving the brake bridge you could use longer reach brakes, or just stick with 27 inch wheels. Good rims and tires are still available in that size.
I don't mind advice as long as it's helpful.
As for the 27 inch wheels, I have two new 700c forks(DeBernardi and Tommasini) that I can use with this frame. I don't want a bike with a 700c front wheel and a 27" rear.
I already have a pair of new Campy centaur brakes. I would consider an old school long reach Campy for the rear, but the prices are ridiculous. I've seen old Campy Record brakes sell on eBay for $200 a pair.
My only other option would be to buy some Tektro long reach brakes, use the Tektro on the rear and put a Campy sticker over the Tektro logo.
ETA: If someone has a single Campy old school long reach rear they want to sell, I'll pay a reasonable price.
