I disagree. I would describe Radiant Coppertone in good condition as looking more gold colored. When it's old and oxidized it may look more brownish. I think the color you show on the truck does look something like coppertone although it's richer and deeper. I bought a '63 Schwinn Sierra out of California some years ago sight unseen. The lady selling it described it as orange colored. It turned out to be coppertone.

The color on the truck looks deeper because it's been clear coated, the old Schwinns were not clear coated. Here is the process for a candy paint job:
1) Primer.
2) Base coat (I'm going to use silver metalic).
3) Candy color coat (clear with candy dye added).
4) Decals.
5) Clear coat.
