The immigration protest in LA in 2007, people were clubbed and shot with rubber bullets while legally and peacefully protesting. The G8 protests in Seattle a few years back the list goes on and on. I'm not going to go through the internet for you and dig up every instance. The 'free speech zones' are still in effect. Do some research on your own and expand your mind. Or don't.
