The catlike helmets are not very good aero anyway. Those holes cause a lot of turbulence. Although they direct the air to your head well it causes more aero drag.
But they are different and hardly anyone else has one, and out here it's not what works, but what looks cool that's best.
I mean, look at the fitting threads. Esh.
