I am 38 and willl be doing my first race this weekend. I am thinking of doing a 26 mile 2 person time trial the following weekend. I don't know how things are going to go, but I am pretty excited about it. The 2nd guy that would be with me on the time trial is 10 or 12 years younger than me.
