I thought I was a finicky grammar person but I didn't know that. Jeepers.

I have both the Specialized Decibel and the S-Works helmets. I can poke a finger much easier through the S-Works helmet, probably the best helmet I've had for scratching. I don't have to compress the helmet very much on my head either (doing that while scratching can unleash a torrent of sweat into my eyes, compounding the whole "I gotta bad itch" problem into a slightly more unstable one).

I'd go to your local shop and check out the helmets. As a tip, skip the helmets that don't cost very much. Seriously. The vents will probably not be as big.
