Interesting ride this morning - legs felt really tired as I left the house. Seemed to shake it out pretty well over the first 15 minutes, and got to feeling pretty good despite a slight headwind for the first half. Cagers were generally kind, weather was perfect (as usual in the a.m. this time of year), and I started to feel good. At about the 40 minute point, I realized I was a bit ahead of my usual pace and had a chance to set a new PR for the commute (headwind notwithstanding...) So hammer down (for me, anyway), sweat dripping and blowing everywhere, and I managed to cross the finish line 2 minutes ahead of my previous PR - and that was set with a pretty good tailwind for the last half. Feels great to be seeing the progress...
