Stan's ZTR rim comes in a 29er version, but I believe availability is an issue.
Mavic has a tubeless-ready 29er rim coming out, am not sure when.
AFAIK jury is still out whether a rim strip is needed, or just the yellow tape, for a standard road rim and the Hutchinson cross tires. Rim strip is not necessary for road tubeless retrofits.
