Because of an approaching storm (and apparently there was lightning somewhere on the course), we were informed with under 2k to go on the next to last lap that we would be sprinting on that lap and ending the race. Too bad I was chilling in the back of the pack waiting for the last lap. I still managed to turn the corner and take 6th. Some squirrelly handling in that race and at least 4 blatant violations of the yellow line rule, which went unnoticed. Overall, not bad. I wasn't feeling my best, and my legs were jello by the sprint, so it was a better result than I expected.
