Cap under helmet. Wicks sweat a bit.

In races and hard core group rides I'll wear a cap with the brim cut off.

Brim is nice when it's raining, very sunny on a training ride, or just a bit cold. Keeps wind/stuff out of my eyes, but I have to really crane my neck to see a lot if I'm sprinting.
