3. cmass has and will never accomplish anything positive if it doesnt change
4. so then how do they intend to accomplish something when they dont even know what theyre trying to accomplish? oh and by saying that this is the nature of any non organized event youre just gonna accept it as is? how about organizing it? how about making sure everyone knows what the cause is so they wont have to make one up themselves?
5. Have you ever heard of Critical manners? it has one objective that everyone follows and its organized and respected by cops and motorists...now THEY will accomplish something...actually they have already accomplished more than cmass has, which is the respect between everyone on the rode =)...i consider it to be the new and improved cmass
5. please list what critical manners has accomplished. i mean, aside from being easily ignored by everyone who doesn't already agree with what they are doing.
1. as i said, if you wish you can substitute the greensboro sit ins or the sufragette movement or the salt strike or whatever historical example of non-violent direct action suits your requirements. and, yes, the bus driver could have driven away without anyone getting hurt... just as easily as the gardiner motorists could have driven slowly and hurt no one. hm.
4. if you wish to have a top-down organized event with a specific, stated goal that's awesome. if it's in my municipality, i'll attend (providing, of course, the stated goal isn't "death to puppies" or "repeal the vote for women" or something like that). however, that's not what cm is.
2. ah, the cyclists were "asking for it" and, thus, deserved to be tasered or rammed. are you sure this is the argument you wish to pursue? i think if you do, you may be horrified to find out what some people think "asking for it" constitutes.
