You can own as many bikes as you want.
If you are cycling all the time, it's not a bad thing to have a spare, in case the other bike breaks or if you want to cycle with a friend. You can also keep using the hybrid for commuting, errands, bad weather etc. and stick to the road bike for training, long rides, fast rides and so forth.
