Haha! Yeah, I was ready for someone to give me a bad time about that. They came assembled and pre-bled before I put them on the Gran Mal - - and they were a touch too long then. When I swapped them over, we didn't bother to trim. They were silly-long (GM was a long frame; this is a medium) but figured I'd deal with it after the race.
Gearing is 38/11-26. Cassette is the PG-970 DH with the razzoo red-anodized alloy spacers.
66 - - Thanks! But it's getting a little
too rustic now. As you know, you have to really keep after pine with the log oil or it starts silvering. And the battens do a lot of moving. I had a mix of 1x10s and 1x12s, so I had to leave some gaps between boards to keep the spacing of the battens even - - lots of nice gaps to house yellow jackets and other vermin
