I have both Park Tool wrenches, and I think they are close enough. I try to stay around 75% of recommended; because it feels way more than enough, and I've gone so long going by feel and having sufficient torque.

I guess a lot of it comes from experience. When I first got carbon components I was afraid to over-tighten it, so I went bit by bit until I got to the point where there is no slip.
