N00b needs help! Just a few questions.
Howdy all. I have what will seem like some very newbie questions.
1) Over the past month I am really getting into biking. I have been riding six days a week. Some days I ride twice in a day if I feel like I didn't work hard enough on the first ride.
So my question is this... Is it okay to ride five/six days in a row without a day of rest in between? My legs do get soar throughout the week, but I usually ride right through that. Is it hurting the development of muscle I may be building? I know in weight lifting you should NEVER work the same body part two days in a row. Is it different for cycling? I don't want to hinder my progress but I found that I am starting to get antsy/cranky if I don't ride that day.
Any tips, suggestions, or flaming is welcome.
