i don't understand why people think you need super narrow bars for riding through traffic. anything smaller than shoulder width is usually for looks. i've ridden through midtown in the middle of rush hour on 44cm road drops and i had no problem with my bars being too wide to weave through traffic. i'd rather have good bike handling skills than super narrow bars. go ride a mtb sometime.
