perhaps the CM's should stand safely on the shoulder at busy intersections on foot and simpy hand pro-bicycle literature to automobiles stopped at the redlight to tell them of the virtues of bike commuting.
do it with a pleasant smile and wave a friendly "bon voyage" when the traffic signal turns green. that would be an informative and courteous way to spread the good message. willing to give it a try, CM's?
