If you want to see your car destroyed, then take it to a crusher yourself. Because otherwise it won't be.

Locally, salvage yards pay $50 for a car that's basically complete, and $150 for a car that is in drivable condition--assuming you transport the car to them. If they have to tow it, then it's -$50 off both those rates. A salvage yard isn't going to crush it when it's still got good parts.

One way to ensure the car doesn't get used anymore is to sell it to a salvage yard without a title--but then again, a lot of yards won't take a car that has no title unless it's truly in derelict condition (already been stripped). And also--they won't pay normal prices if you can't provide a transferable title either.
