Touring Bike Geometry-Sloping vs. Straight top tube
I am weighing the pros and cons of a new bike. I prefer steel for comfort.
I am now looking at the REI Radonee, Fuji, Windsor and the new Raleigh Sojourn. Only the Radonee has a straight top tube. The other bikes have sloping top tubes.
Other than allowing more standover room, what is the difference in riding characteristics with a sloping top tube vs. straight top tube?
Will the slight difference in geometry on these steel frame bikes make any difference?
