Different beasty all together But I wouldn't drill a hole in any frame. Not worth compromising the frame.

Chansnewbike, there are lots of ways of proceeding without resorting to drilling. Old Man Mountain makes racks that work without eyelets. Tubus makes adapters. They even make a better p-clamp. Check the Touring Store And the other guys were talking about using a reflector clamp and a bit of bending to fashion the right sized p-clamp.
