If you're going to dream, dream big! Take a look at this:
CJBC's Longest Day, it's a double century (208 miles), double metric (132 miles) or century (108 miles). It's also June 14th (the summer beach/recreation season keeps us from riding on the 21st).
I remember when I first got back on my bike as an adult. I came home frustrated from work (computer hotline) and I took out my old, ill fitting Sears Espirit and road it around the block for 45 minutes. I came back soaked but I felt better. I think I rode 7 miles. That was 18 years ago. I never even dreamed of riding further than that expect I was bored and wanted to look at different scenery. I now ride all over the state.
You take it easy, ride at you're own pace and distance, and get comfortable with the bike. You should enjoy the ride otherwise you won't do it. Good luck!
