I finally figured out what you are saying. You linked directly to a car image on the snopes page and their server substituted the Mr Yuk instead of delivering the image. Nice of them, huh.
Edit to add: If snopes is concerned about copyright and so forth, they should be aware that Mr Yuk is a
registered trademark of the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh...
