At the expense of the crushing antagonism this will bring, I would like to express my thanks to Mike for handling my order of the Fly Ti bike I recently purchased from him. He was very accommodating, helped me save an additional hundred bucks, the bike arrived in two days, and I assembled with no issues.
Best of all, I took the bike out for my first mountain biking experience, and just beat the crap out of myself falling over and doing an endo (I'm 58 years old). My right hip is deep purple: dang, my whole right thigh is deep purple from hitting rocks on the trail. Fun but painful. I went clipless and should have gone with flat pedals first time out.
I absolutely do not know how the bike continued, and continues, to work at all. I ran into trees, and pounded it hard falling over (and over and over). It was covered in mud, couldn't even see parts like the derailleurs.
So, I know this is a mt bike, but BD has been so hammered on in this forum, perhaps with good reason sometimes, I wanted to say my experience was great. If I found the right bike from him, I would order again, maybe not a top end model, but I'd sure give him a look.
I've never knowingly been a shill, but if a company treats me right (a far too rare occurrence), I'm happy to pass that on.
Marketing and tag line aside, good customer service with this order goes a long way with me.
Now, for those who want to pile on BD, just ignore my post, and avoid giving them more ink
