Hi -

I am new to this forum but have been riding for a long time, I am 52, and plan to ride for a long time to come. Almost exclusively road riding, vintage bikes. I live in SoCal in an area with some very nice country roads and relatively little traffic. Grew up in the Central Coast, member of SLOBC back in the 70's and 80's, Cal Poly SLO grad. Just rode the Tour de Cure, Thousand Oaks.

I hope to find out about more vintage bike activities in the SoCal area. I have ridden with Velo Retro once but all my old Emily K wool stuff is in too poor shape for a good retro equipe, besides being 40 lbs too small for me now... I ride a 1975 Eisentraut I have had since 1976, and a 2007 Masi Vincere because the Eisentraut is apart for re-paint, and a Trek 7000 for commuting to work. My wife rides her 1985 Performance Blue Ridge (Columbus tube) and my son rides the 1974 Gitane TdF I restored for him. Sometimes we even ride together, LOL.

I want a Carlesbad Masi Gran Criterium, yes I do.
