yeah it happens....iv'e had days where it seemed man+beast was out to get me.
Just shrug it off, oh and keep a second bike around, even if it's a crappy huffy, just enough to hold you by while the LBS fixes yours.
Oh, and try to make the second bike a singlespeed of some flavor...makes life far simpler, or if you want derailers a cheapo mtn bike with a 7-sp "mega-range" cassette....those things dont even need chainguards, that 7th speed is it's own chainguard...34t....it's freaking HUGE!
