I was slowing down as I approached Queen on Beverly, reached down to loosen my right strap, unconsciously squeezed the brake a little harder, which kinda scared me and made me squeeze even harder.
Up and over the bars I went. Weeeeeeeeee!
Thankfully it was deserted, but boy did I ever feel like a schmuck.
That sounds like one of my old falls but it was a book that brought me down. I was returning a book to the library on my mountain bike. I had the book in my left hand and was messing around with it and it somehow got caught between my left foot and the front wheel and I went down pretty hard. No one saw but ****, that was a stupid thing to do.
It was a hardcover book so I guess that is why I went down----always try to get softcover books out of the library if you are a mentally handicapped person, you will have less accidents that way.
