I hit a pedal really hard the very first time I rode fixed, it was a conversion and I was going pretty quick, I even though going into the turn that I better not turn to hard since 'I had to keep pedaling', but I hit it anyway, and it must have lifted/bounced my back wheel a good 6 inches off the ground, but I didn't fall, I just lost my line and went flying up on the the sidewalk with my feet out of my pedals. I never clipped a pedal again on that bike.
But for the first time, just today, I clipped the my gr9 pedal on 165mm cranks on my tt, I figure I was due, since I'd sorta been pushing it for ages to see how far I could go. Its too bad, since I was almost convinced that I couldn't actually hit it.
