I run a repair shop. It always amazes me when people are put out because you do not drop everything to take care of their "simple problem" The problem is if you take care of everyone’s simple problems on the spot you end up working till midnight trying to get repairs done that you already had to do.

Either that or you piss off the people who already had their repairs in the shop because you were unable to complete them due to the fact that you spent all your time on the walk ins with "simple problems" Not only that the “simple problems” are not always as simple as they may appear to be to the customer.

The LBS did nothing wrong here. They were looking out for all their customers not just the one that was standing in front of them.
