Just joined these forums, I have been lurking for a week or so. Picked myself up a Saintropez bike for $15. And than just today I found a Kotter bike for my brother that was $10. The Kotter is in much worse shape, but the bike is much nicer in general, it weighs about half as much as the other bike, and the parts are a little nicer. There is a good amount of rust, but it's only on the frame. I used a brillo pad/scotch bright and got off a significan amount of rust that was on alot of the chrome/steel whatever.. parts. I was at that for about 2 1/2 hours. Than I went to put a little more air in the front tire, and pushed the nozzle a little to hard, and it just tore so off to get a new tube. Once we got that My brother and I took the bikes out and we went and got chinese food. Oh, any info on the bikes for anything, such as frame model,as well as recommendations for new tires(27 1 3/8 for the saintropez, 700x23 for the kotter, sorry for different measuring systems) for both bikes, would be really appreciated! Worst of the rust right there, the other bar that doesnt have any rust is the result of tedius cleaning, haha.


This is more what the paint job looks like, cant really tell from the full shot, this may even be one of the better spots of the frame haha.
