Ok #1 that is claimed weight...Mavic seems to have reality issues some times with claimed weight versus actual weights of their product. I don't know where the CXP 33s typically run but I would bet it is higher than the claimed weight.

#2 there is a Niobium30 rim that is lighter than the DeepV and DT 1.2 but is the same depth. I have a set of these on my fixed gear and they are nice but I am not sure they are what you are looking for in terms of super durability...in fact if you aren't careful you can pretty easily damage them while building (ask me how I know). To keep the weight down the walls of the rim at VERY thin.

#3 I keep hearing Deep V and DT RR1.2 mentioned but don't overlook the Velocity Fusion...very similar rim to the CXP33 I would guess. 25mm rim depth, stronger than the Aerohead but not quite as strong as a Deep V. But they are lighter than the Deep V. Just another option to think about.
